President's Message
Emeritus Prof. Dr. Chandrasiri Gannile
President – ATM Campus
Dr. Gannile is a committed professional with over twenty-five years of experience in business conglomerates with multinational exposure in diversified business sectors along with strong record of achievements in a wide range of business & strategic HR functions. He has been at the Senior Management level for the past several years and contributed extensively in different business sectors. He served his glorious career in banking & finance, manufacturing, diversified industries sector and many more conglomerates and MNCs in senior management capacity as Director, Chief Officer in Human Resources (CHRO), General Manager, DGM, Senior Manager and functional Head. His working involvements are organizational human resources, branch network administration, procumbent, training & development, legal, facilities management, partnerships and business development etc. He brings expertise in corporate training with National Diploma in Teaching & Training Methodology from National Institute of Education (NIE) Sri Lanka
Dr. Gannile is a graduate in Management at the University of Colombo with an MBA from university of Kelaniya, National Diploma in HRM, Diploma in Human Resources Management at NIBM, National Diploma in Teaching from Nation Institute Education. He is also Fellow member of Chartered Management Institute (UK), Fellow member of Institute of Management Sri Lanka, Chartered Fellow member of Chartered Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (FCIPM). He obtained his PhD (Business & Management) from Management and University,(MSU) Malaysia. Specializing in Strategic Human Resource Management
He has been the Vice President of Executive Council – CIPM Sri Lanka in the year of 2016 /2017. He was awarded as a Senior Faculty Member Award in 2015- CIPM SL for his contributions made towards the development of curriculum of HRM Professional studies.
Dr. Gannile also holds Certificate of Appreciation and long Services Award by Managing Director of CEAT Sri Lanka for the dedication & the commitment towards obtaining productivity based collective agreements to the Company whilst maintaining harmonious labor relations between company and trade union/s.
Dr. Gannile has participated in several certification programs and workshops locally and internationally on Leadership, Competency Framework, Talent acquisition and development, succession planning, Conflict Resolution, Labor Laws, Work Place Corporation and dialogue (ILO) and on other subjects pertaining to HRM. He is also a Lead Auditor – ISO 9000 – 2008- Beaurau Veritaz. Dr.Gannile is a Certified Chartered HR Auditor in Human Resources Application & Practices.
